A vintage Rotary Vibrating Rivetting Hammer for restoration.
Made by Turner Machine Tools Ltd of Birmingham.
Model R.H. 18, will set rivets up to a diameter of ¹/₈".
The machine was fully working when decommissioned, but will required the following before being able to work again:
The original foot pedal was snapped off; however, I have sourced a very similar pedal from an old hardness testing machine, which will fit with only minor modifications.
It is missing its original NVR starter and lo-vo light. I am able to supply a replacement Crabtree 'BD15' 415V NVR starter and a suitable modern Cutler-Hammer lo-vo lamp/transformer(415V to 25V/50V) at extra cost if required.
The circular flexible belt which drives the anvil rotation mechanism is perished and will need replacing with a length of suitable PU belting or similar.
The original flat leather drive belt is missing; however, the crown pulley's can easily be swapped for equivalent vee pulley's if so wished.
The motor, a Brook Gryphon 380/440V, 1/2HP, is currently removed, but is in perfect working order and merely requires bolting back into position.
The machine comes with a large selection of setting dollies to fit the upper virating/rotating anvil and the lower fixed anvil. The dollies are held in posion via a taper.
There is some side play in the upper, sliding/rotating, anvil,which would need further investigation and possible bush replacement in order to eliminate.
I cannot see me ever using this machine so am letting it go.

Base footprint = 12" wide x 16" deep.
Approximate weight = 255lbs (116kg) (approx.2¹/₄ cwt)

Slight damage to 1 tee slot on edge and chuck is bolted to table with machine screws.
5” Pratt 3 jaw chuck with inside and outside jaws and key
Used but still very accurate, base repaired ( welded) when bolt mounting slots were damaged.
Chuck has a few drill and cutter marks but has had very little use, still concentric.
Very robust and well made.

This is a collection of s/s tubing that is now redundant. Many years ago used to make rigital readouts and sensors wer offered with telescopic s/s tubes as protection, most commonly for the Myford 7 lathe.
Material is a mix of 304 ans 316. Mostly from Tubesales who supplied to military tracability, but I no longer have any of the certificates.
Sizes are ¹/₄", ⁵/₁₆". ³/₈". ⁷/₁₆" and ¹/₂" by around 22SWG, 0.028" wall thickness. These would easily telescope in one another and then I formed stops to prevent the tubes pulling out of each other.
There are a few metric sizes, also some ex-military hydraulic tubes of varying diameter and shape.
The material is all new, just been stored for 30 years.
There are about 50 tubes with an average length of 2.7m plus a further about 25 tubes with an average length of 1m. So total is about 160m.
It is heavy and clumsy to move, probably a roof rack might not work without a supporting beam to tie them to.

C/W fixed and travelling. 3jaw s/c..4 jaw independent faceplate catchplate etc. We had to disassemble this to get iit from bottom of garden up to my van. mostly reassembled . The original single phase 1400 rpm comes with it. There are two other motors both 850 rpm, with it. This is in my garage and can be rolled out onto my drve for loading onto a trailer or tail lift truck. Collection only please. No pallets or couriers. and cash on collection

This is a quality SKINNER 6" Chuck - Model:906-1, and has a tight smooth action having had very little use as can be seen by the clean metalwork. The Thread of 1-1/2" x 8 tpi fits South Bend, Boxford, Atlas, etc. The Lathe I have just bought came with two 4-jaw Chucks, so one must go! The prices for such good Chucks vary widely, but am only asking £45 plus Postage.

Wolf Sapphire HD drill, type 3806, complete with very heavy duty magnetic stand. It is well used, with damage to the paintwork, but no physical damage.
Drill is 240v, 1020 watts, capacity 32mm at 360rpm. (Speed change switch does not work to change speed to 425rpm, but drill works fine at 360rpm). Fitted with a 3 morse taper adaptor as shown on pics
Magnetic drill stand is 240v, with a very powerful magnetic base. It has full 360 degree swivel facility, with a fine lateral adjustment built in. Vertical stroke is 280mm
The drill stand is very heavy and realistically, needs to be collected from 1 mile west of Sandtoft, N Lincs. I am willing to package it for collection if the buyer wishes to organise his own courier.
